NOTE: During warmer months, Chocolates are available by special order only - please call 760-951-9924. We will be happy to take your order over the phone. WARM WEATHER SHIPPING ~ CHOCOLATES, GUMMIES & MELLOWCREMES need special handling during the months of April through September, or whenever the weather is warm. To assure that your order will arrive without melting during warm weather, all orders containing any chocolate, gummy or mellowcreme items, must be shipped as outlined below.
Unless your order is going to So. California you must purchase Second or Next Day air when purchasing heat sensitive products during warm months. We will include the appropriate quantity of Ice-Brix™ at no additional charge. Arrange to have your package delivered where someone is able to receive your package -- perhaps a business address. UPS may leave packages on your porch if no one is home. Candy Crate will not be responsible for orders left outside. Perishable orders can only be shipped Monday - Thursday to arrive by Friday. Since APO, FPO & US Territory orders must be sent through the USPS, we cannot accept orders for heat sensitive products going to those regions during April through September. ______________________________________________________________
Most orders ship within 48 hours. All items are shipped via UPS or DHL except HI & AK. As a general guideline, regular shipping (ground or USPS): to Southern California, 1 business day. to the West Coast, 1-2 business days. to the Mid-West, 3-4 business days. to the East Coast, 4-5 business days. Add 1 extra day for weeks that contain a holiday. UPS & DHL do not deliver on the weekends & they do not count them as business days. We do not ship Internationally. We can only ship to addresses in the United States and Canada.
IMPORTANT: The Delivery Address Please remember cross-country ground shipping can take up to 5 business days to arrive. Please be sure to provide us with complete and accurate delivery information including an accurate zip code. A phone number is recommended if possible to assist delivery services in promptly delivering your gift. NOTE: We regret we may have to charge a $10.00 address correction charge if a bad address or zip code is supplied (the same charge that UPS charges us for them to correct the address).
Returned items may be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
